Where trust is automatic.
MG Trust Company primarily supports the third-party administrator
customers for MSCS. Our customers are investors, financial
intermediaries, plan sponsors and administrators who desire
to work with seasoned trust professionals who understand the
issues and pressures they face—and consistently deliver
outstanding service and uncompromising accuracy.
MG Trust provides directed trust and custodial services to
customers of MSCS in a highly automated environment. MSCS’s
automated platform for TPAs facilitates the exchange
of all information necessary for trust/custodial services
as well as trading functions. MG Trust is also supported by
a state-of-the-art trust accounting system provided by Innovest
Systems, LLC.
MG Trust also is able to provide cash receipt and disbursement
functions, and will serve as a directed trustee or custodian
for qualified retirement plans, including 403(b) plans. We
will hold title to the assets, but exercise no oversight of
plan administration, investment selection or performance.
All investment responsibility must be delegated to an eligible
investment advisor or be received directly from the plan participants.
MG Trust can also serve as trustee/custodian for non-qualified
deferred compensation programs and provide customized gain/loss,
tax lot accounting and grantor letter reporting.
In addition, MG Trust recently began offering collective trust
funds. Created in response to the demand for exchange traded
funds as investment options within daily valued retirement
plans, MG Trust Collective Trust Funds are designed for the
collective investment of qualified retirement plan assets.
Each of the 11 funds, which are provided in partnership with
State Street Global Advisors, consists of two investments:
an exchange traded fund and an institutional collective trust
fund managed by State Street Global Advisors to provide liquidity.
